Every Veterans Day, Green Meadows is proud to stand for our nation’s heroes. Supporting veterans is rooted in who we are. Founded on the historic Green Meadows farm by descendants of General George S. Patton, our mission has always included honoring those who serve through meaningful action, not just words.

That mission took shape through the Patton Alliance for Veterans (PAV), a 501(c)3 organization built to bridge the gap between the cannabis industry and veteran support organizations. Because of federal restrictions, cannabis companies can’t always donate directly to veteran-focused charities. The Patton Alliance changes that, creating a path for brands like ours, and our retail partners across Massachusetts, to contribute to causes that help veterans heal, rebuild, and thrive.

This Veterans Day, we’re continuing that mission together with our community, our partners, and you.

Why the Patton Alliance for Veterans Was Created

At Green Meadows, supporting our veterans is at the heart of our mission. But as a cannabis company, we quickly learned that doing so came with real roadblocks. Because of federal cannabis prohibition, most traditional veteran-focused nonprofits can’t accept donations from companies like ours.

That didn’t sit right with us. So, we created a solution.

The Patton Alliance for Veterans (PAV) was founded to break through those barriers. It’s a compliant, transparent, and purposeful way for cannabis businesses to contribute to organizations doing vital work for veterans across the country.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between the cannabis community and veteran support organizations. Through PAV, we’ve been able to give back in meaningful ways and invite our retail partners to do the same.

Our veterans sacrifice everything for us, so it’s crucial to give back to them.

PAV’s Impact Over the Years

Since launching the Patton Alliance for Veterans (PAV), we’ve proudly worked to transform cannabis purchases into meaningful contributions to the veteran community. While federal restrictions continue to limit how cannabis companies can directly support many nonprofit organizations, the PAV has become a powerful, compliant vehicle for turning intention into action.

Each year, with the help of our retail partners across Massachusetts, Green Meadows donates a portion of product proceeds to organizations on the frontlines of veteran support. Through these campaigns, we’ve contributed to causes that address critical needs, from mental health support to racial equity within the veteran community.

Organizations We’ve Proudly Supported:

  • Stop Soldier Suicide – Committed to reducing veteran suicide by providing tailored mental health support and crisis intervention.
  • Black Veterans Project – Working to document, advocate, and amplify the voices and experiences of Black veterans across the United States.

This ongoing work wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration and generosity of our retail partners and customers. Together, we’re building a movement that goes beyond cannabis.

Our Plans for Veterans Day 2025

This year marks the third consecutive Veterans Day campaign powered by the Patton Alliance for Veterans, and it’s shaping up to be our most impactful one yet.

We’re honored to be joined by an incredible group of retail partners across Massachusetts who are stepping up to support our nation’s veterans. Throughout the month of November, each of these partners will donate a portion of Green Meadows product proceeds directly to the Patton Alliance, helping fund programs that serve and uplift veterans across the country.

Participating Retail Partners:

6 Brick’s (Springfield)

Back for their third year in a row, 6 Brick’s has been a consistent champion of this initiative. Their support last year helped earn a visit from the Mayor of Springfield and national media attention, including a feature on NBC.

Mello (Haverhill)

Bringing a fresh wave of support in 2025, Mello is joining us in making a difference through community-centered cannabis.

Canna Retreat (Palmer)

This year, veteran-owned Canna Retreat joins our mission to give back, helping us amplify the message that veterans deserve dedicated support.

Bud’s Goods & Provisions (Worcester, Abington, Watertown)

With locations in Worcester, Abington, and Watertown, Bud’s is showing up in a big way across the state to uplift veteran-serving causes.

Green Rock Cannabis (Rockland)

As a first-time partner, Green Rock is diving in with heart and commitment to help us expand the reach and impact of the Alliance.

We’re thrilled by the support, and additional partners may be announced as the campaign continues to build momentum.

This Veterans Day, every Green Meadows product purchase from these retailers helps support something bigger: a future where every veteran has access to the resources and recognition they deserve.
