As the holiday season approaches, Green Meadows, a recognized leader in the Massachusetts cannabis market, is on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve. Green Meadows has launched a charitable initiative to gather donations for local food banks, in Southbridge and Fitchburg where their two retail destinations are located.
“The spirit of giving is a cherished tradition at Green Meadows, both during the holiday season and throughout the year,” said Chris Zawacki, Green Meadows CEO. “We are honored to partner with Bridge Fridge Community Fridge and Ginny’s Helping Hand, two incredible organizations that are making a difference every day.”
Both Green Meadows locations, in Southbridge and Fitchburg, have set up donation centers where customers and passersby can contribute food items to benefit local food pantries. These donation tables will remain open throughout the entirety of the holiday season.
The Southbridge location of Green Meadows is proudly supporting the Wellstorm Food Drive, known as the “Bridge Fridge Community” Fridge, an organization that provides not only non-perishables, but also frigerated and frozen options to those in need.
Green Meadows’ Fitchburg location is extending its support to Ginny’s Helping Hand, located in Leominster, serving Fitchburg and the surrounding area. They offer not only a food pantry but also a thrift store for families to shop for school supplies, clothing, holiday items and home goods.
Green Meadows encourages everyone to join in the holiday spirit and make a difference by contributing to the donation centers at their Southbridge and Fitchburg locations. The generosity of customers and the wider community is the driving force behind the initiative.
