Green Meadows is excited to announce the return of our Rock Your Socks Campaign, running from March 16th to March 22nd in support of The ARCs of Fitchburg and Southbridge. Purchase a pair of fun, brightly colored, socks on our dispensary floors for just $5.00 — all proceeds go directly to these incredible organizations!
What is Rock Your Socks?
Every year on March 21st, people around the world come together to recognize World Down Syndrome Day by wearing mismatched, vibrant socks. This simple but powerful act raises awareness for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of people with Down syndrome. The date—3/21—is symbolic, as individuals with Down syndrome have three copies of the 21st chromosome. The choice of socks comes from the visual similarity of Down syndrome chromosomes to mismatched socks!
Who Does This Campaign Support
We are proud to donate all proceeds from our sock sales to the ARCs of Southbridge and Fitchburg. These organizations are dedicated to promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their full inclusion in the community throughout their lives.
